Showa Denko HD Singapore Pte Ltd was established in Singapore on November 2002 as a subsidiary of Showa Denko K.K. (Japan) (SDK). We focus on the production and sales of hard disk media - aluminum and glass substrate media with diameters ranging from 0.85-inch (the smallest in the world) to 3.5-inch.

Our R&D team in SHDS is committed to engineer advanced media in partnership with our customers. Our world class Cleanroom is equipped with leading-edge technology equipment to manufacture high quality and performance HD media. SHDS also has the largest media manufacturing capacity amongst SDK’s multinational media manufacturing locations. Together with our sister plants in Japan and Taiwan, we aim to maintain Showa Denko’s leading share in the world’s HD media market.
